Use this White Balance option to adjust the screen colors.
1. ATW (Automatic Tracing White Balance) : Performs the multiple white balance operation
automatically. Color temperature between 1,800 and 10,500 ˚K is used.
2. AWC : Obtain optimal White Balance for current illumination environment by pointing the
camera at a sheet of white paper and pressing the SET button. The white balance requires
readjustment if the lighting condition changes.
3. MANUAL : You can make fine adjustments in Manual Mode. First, use either Auto or
Temporary mode to adjust the white balance. Switch to Manual mode, and click the SET
button. Increase or decrease Red and Blue values to adjust the color of video.

White Balance (WHITE BAL)
• White Balance may not function correctly under the following conditions. If so, please use the AWC
mode instead.
- The subject is in an environment that exceeds the color temperature compensation range. (e.g.
Clear sky or sunset)
- The subject is in a dark environment.
- White Balance may function incorrectly if the camera is pointing directly at a fluorescent light, or
installed in an environment with fluctuating lighting levels.
Caution
Switches between the Color and B&W modes.
1. Auto : Color mode is normally used, and B&W mode is used for low-light conditions.
2. B/W (Black and White) : Displays video in black and white.
3. Color : Displays video in color.

Day & Night Mode (DAY/NIGHT)
•
If you select Internal Synchronization for Synchronization Method in the Image Adjustment Setup Menu,
set Shutter Mode in Exposure Compensation to Manual, and then point the camera directly at a bright
fluorescent light, the picture may become unstable; please choose the camera's direction carefully
when installing.
•
The Auto and Manual shutter modes are available only if the lens is manual.
•
Higher ratios make the picture brighter, but create more afterimages of moving subjects.
•
Using a high accumulation ratio for SensUp may cause noise, spots, and whiteouts to appear even
when the camera is operating normally.
•
Make sure to check "ON" to activate the option.
Caution
1. SHUTTER SETUP :
Select the automatic or manual shutter control.
- Auto (ESC) : Controls the shutter speed automatically. When Auto is selected, the shutter
speed is controlled automatically to suit the subject's illumination level.
- Manual (MANUAL) : Controls the shutter speed manually.
- Flickerless(A.FLK) : Select this option when you are experiencing screen flicker caused
by a frequency conflict between the camera frame-rate and
illumination.
- Shutter Speed (Shutter) : Controls the camera shutter speed.
2. GAIN SETUP :
Increasing the Gain Level increases the screen brightness, but also increases the amount
of noise.
- OFF : Gain is disabled.
- LOW : Automatically adjusts the Gain level from 0 to a maximum of 20dB.
- Middle : Automatically adjusts the Gain level from 0 to a maximum of 34dB.
- HIGH : Automatically adjusts the Gain level from 0 to a maximum of 42dB.
3. SENSUP SETUP
Maintains bright and clear pictures at night and other low-light conditions by automatically
detecting low-light levels.
- Enable : Select to activate the Sens-up option.
- SensUp Level : Adjusts the maximum SensUp level and Automatic Low Light mode.
