The second line in the file is the element that was polled. The line has a time and date
stamp. This stamp is when the ECR was actually pre-polled. This stamp can be different
than the header stamp (line 1). If the software finished pre-poll and the session ended
abruptly, the next time that you poll (possibly a day later) you will read the older data
sitting in the prepoll area.
Structure of Line 2
Position
1-2 two ASCII characters, decimal 16, a right arrow
53-64 the key mode. Always 2 characters
5 the report type
53-64 / (forward slash) used as a separator
1 date of prepoll taken
53-65 / (forward slash) used as a separator
53-66 Time of prepoll
Structure of Line 3
Line 3 is the report column header.
Position
1 ASCII character, decimal 16, a right arrow
53-64 Identifier. This is usually the report type, as in line 2.
However, for reports such as clerks, groups by time period,
etc, this will be the element of the report. Example:
Employee#1, Employee#2.
40 - Balance of the line is column headers for count and totals.

53-65 Column 1 count ( if PLU, then Waste)
53-66 Column 2 total ( if PLU, then Promo)
