Creating a New Store
1. Choose
Create
New from the Store menu to create a store. You can create an unlimited
number of stores. The Create New Store dialog displays.
2. Complete the Create New Store dialog according to the table below:

Enter an eight character store name.
Store# O Enter the four digit number that is the same number that
you used when you programmed the store# at the register.
If store numbers do not match, you will not be able to
communicate with the register.

O Enter the Phone number preceded by the letter

you intend to communicate with the register by modem.
The
T is for TONE and the P is for PULSE. If you
communicate direct, leave this field blank.

IRC Range

Enter the IRC range of registers from 1-32. If the register
is standalone, use

Use PC Com
Port# (1-32)

Enter the PC Com port (1-32) that you are using for
communications.
Download
PLUs
O
Select the Download PLUs check box if you wish to
download changed PLUs in a polling session. When the
session is finished polling, the program will download any
changed PLUs.
Deactivate
This Store
O Select the Deactivate This Store check box if you wish the
store to be inactive.

Unless otherwise indicated, the default value of 99 will be
entered automatically when the store is created
Download
Programs Only
to Register #1

If selected, download only to register #1. IRC can be used
at the store level to update all register programs.
