E912
E912 means that the Samsung unit can detect flow when it thinks the
pump is not running. Go to the test function on the controller by holding
down the test button and
blue
set button. TEST or 7357 will show, see
picture. Then press the top left button on the controller. The controller
should display a picture of a house with an arrow round it. Now the pump
should be running.
Press the top left button again, the house with the circle round it will
disappear. The pump should go off when the symbol goes off. The flow
rate in the flow meter should be 0. If it’s not, going looking for other
pumps, they are causing the problem.
If the pump continues to run check it’s wired live to B6 and N to B7. If
this is correct the PCB is faulty.
In a few cases there has been a problem with the flow switch
causing an E912. To test if the flow switch has a problem you
need to make sure that the power to the unit is off and there is
no flow. Remove the flow switch completely and unplug it from
the PCB.
Get a multi meter and switch it to ohms Ωsetting. Insert the
meter probes into the flow switch plug (See picture). It should
display infinity
∞
. When in normal position
If you move the paddle the meter should measure 0 ohms. If
moving the paddle does not make a change to the reading on
the meter the flow switch is faulty.
