E320 Temperature Sensors
E320
is an error with the compressor body sensor. It’s the blue
sensor under the wiring cover on top of the compressor; it’s the
size of a £1 coin It’s connected to the main PCB in connector at
the top right of the PCB called CN43 in a white and red plug; it’s
the top 2 wires.
Its not possible to test this sensor using the inbuilt check functions,
you need to test it with a multi meter. Details of how to do this are
at the end of this chapter.
E320 happens when the circuit is open (sensor damaged or
not plugged in correctly). Or if the compressor temperature is
super cold below -2C, this error is not a shortage of refrigerant
or overheating problem.
The sensor is broken if the resistance is very high, over 600k
Ohms.
E463 is fault c
ode you get if this sensor is too hot over 150C.
