Possible Solution
This message appears when the connection speed of the
connected device and the device selected from the Target
List are different when copying data.
➔
Connect a low speed device between the two devices.
(See figure)
* A 1394 device has a maximum connection speed which will
be marked near the IEEE 1394 connector with an “S” number
(i.e., S100,S200,S400). The higher the number, the faster the
maximum connection speed.
This TV has a maximum connection speed of S400.
This message appears when you try to record a device, which
is currently being recorded manually or by another device,
through the TV.
➔
Stop the recording device and retry.
Check that the connected device supports DTCP.
This message appears when trying to copy protected content.
This message appears when trying to copy No-more-copies or
Copy-never content.
Although a camcorder which supports the DV format appears
in the device list, you cannot watch video from the camcorder
even if you select the camcorder as an input source,
because the TV supports the MPEG format only.
Problem
“Connection is failed.
1394 network speed is not compatible.”
message appears.
“This device is occupied by another
device.” message appears.
“Authentication is failed” message
appears.
“Recording is prohibited.” message
appears.
Although DV Camcorder is in the
device list, no picture is displayed
on the screen when the DV camcorder
is selected.
