Emergency number 911 is hard-coded into your phone. You
can dial this number any time, even when the phone is
locked or restricted. If you call 911 an audible tone is heard
and an Emergency prompt displays on the screen for the
duration of the call.
Important!
Because of various transmission methods, network
parameters, and user settings necessary to
complete a call from your wireless phone, a
connection cannot always be guaranteed.
Therefore, emergency calling may not be available
on all wireless networks at all times.
DO NOT depend on this phone as a primary
method of calling 911 or for any other essential or
emergency communications.
Remember to always turn your phone on and check for
adequate signal strength before placing a call.
To store emergency numbers:
1.
At the
Security
sub-menu, select
Emergency #
.
2.
Select from the three emergency number entries.
3.
Enter an emergency number (up to 32 digits in length).
4.
Press
to save the number that you entered.
Call emergency numbers in lock mode:
1.
In standby mode, enter the emergency number.
2.
Press
to place the call.
Resetting the Phone
Reset Phone returns all setup options to their factory default.
1.
At the
Security
sub-menu, select
Reset Phone
. You
are prompted to confirm that you want to restore your
phone’s default settings (except for the Contacts and
Voice Dial).
2.
Press the
Yes
soft key to restore default settings.
– or –
Press the
No
soft key to
retain your current settings.
Erase All Entries
Erase All Entries erases all information from your Contacts
list.
