9.3.2 Hydraulic fl uid removal
Refer to Fig. 9-2, Fig. 9-5 and Fig. 9-6

Before proceeding to the end caps disassembly is necessary
to empty the HCD bodies (301H and 302H) from the liquid.
Ö
Unscrew and remove the plugs (339).
Ö
If installed remove the external hydraulic circuit.

Gather the liquid contained in the HCD bodies into a container.
Do not scatter the hydraulic liquid contained in the HCD bodies
into the environment.
Make sure to follow the instruction for the collection and disposal
recommended by the manufacturer.
If necessary, please contact PFEIFFER for the information about
HCD liquid product.

9.3.3 Stop cap screws removal

Remove both stop cap screws (02) together with nuts (04)
and washers (03).
Ö
Remove the stop caps o-rings (11).
For actuator with additional stroke limitation setting:

Loosen the nut (04R).
Ö
Unscrew partially the stop screw (221G/222G) out from the
actuator, making sure that the stop screw (221G/222G) is
not in contact with the piston anymore.
