Working with the core temperature sensor

The internal temperature of the food being cooked is measured precisely with the core
temperature sensor. Once the core temperature set is reached, the appliance is
automatically switched off and a buzzer sounds.

The cooking time is disabled if you use the core temperature function.

The core temperature can be used in all cooking phases. Make sure that you choose a
higher core temperature from one cooking phase to the next, otherwise the cooking pro-
cess will be ended prematurely.

You can use the core temperature function at temperatures from 20
°
C to 99
°
C.

Benefits of the core temperature function:

always the same, optimum result of cooking,

reduction in weight loss,
−
overcooking is avoided.
Using the core temperature sensor
Caution, the core temperature sen-
sor is hot. Take care when removing.

Insert the core temperature sensor into the
food being cooked with the tip towards the
centre.

The metal tip should be pushed fully into the
food being cooked (down to the handle).

Error number display

Core temperature operating error ”Er 12”
The core temperature sensor has not been pushed into the food being cooked. The control sys-
tem has detected a very rapid temperature rise on the core temperature sensor.

Turn the appliance on and off.

Push the core temperature sensor into the food being cooked.

Restart the cooking process.
