Electrical connection

The electrical connection must be made by a qualified electrician-
−
according to the current VDE 0100 regulations
−
and the rules of the power supply company concerned.

The flexible mains connection shall comply at least with H 07 RN-F.

An electric switch (mains switch)
−
must be easily accessible and installed upstream.
−
The switch must effectively disconnect the appliance at all poles from the mains.
−
The contact opening must be at least 3 mm.

For safety reasons, we recommend fitting a residual current circuit breaker (RCB) > 10 mA.

The appliance may only be opened by an authorized customer service or an approved spe-
cialist company. The appliance must be isolated from the mains before it is opened.
D
Observe the data on the type plate when making the electrical connection.
D
Integrate the appliance into the equipotential bonding system. Its efficiency must be checked
in accordance with VDE 0190.

Make sure that the earth conductor system for the in-house electrical installation is installed
according to regulations.

Maintenance

Have the appliance inspected and serviced at regular intervals. Maintenance work includes:
e.g. safety, functioning and tightness tests.

Installation, maintenance and repair work may only be carried out by professional electri-
cians.
D
The appliance may only be opened by an authorized customer service or an approved spe-
cialist company. The appliance must be isolated from the mains before it is opened.

Use only original accessories and original replacement parts.
D
We recommend agreeing a maintenance contract with the authorized customer service.

Notes on waste disposal
D
Remove the mains cable and the door lock from appliances that are being taken out of ser-
vice to prevent accidents.
D
Old appliances are not worthless rubbish. Valuable raw materials can be recovered from
such appliances by environmentally friendly waste disposal.
D
Electronic components must be disposed of as electronic waste.
