Water connection

Observe the regulations issued by the local water supply company.
D
Do not connect it to a hot water supply, continuous flow water heater or open hot water app-
liances.

The appliance must be operated with cold drinking water.
D
A water tap and a water filter (50 microns) must be installed in an easily accessible position
upstream of the appliance.

Water pressure:

Minimum 200 kPa (2 bar) dynamic
−
the flow pressure may not drop below 200 kPa be-
cause of additional consumers, otherwise install a separate water inlet or booster pump.

Maximum 350 kPa (3.5 bar) static
−
over 350 kPa (3.5 bar) a pressure reducer must be
installed upstream of the appliance.

The appliance includes its own water softener. This shall be adjusted by the authorized cu-
stomer service. For regeneration of the water softener, see page 60 section 8.

The appliance is supplied prepared for connection to the drinking water supply. If the app-
liance is to be connected to an osmosis filter system
−
special appliance settings must be made by the authorized customer service,
−
the conductivity of the water produced by the osmosis filter system must be from 2 to 50
microSiemens/cm.

For the connection, use a pressure resistant, movable DVGW-approved, food quality hose
(at least 1/2 inch).

The supply hose may not be kinked or crushed.
D
Flush out the water supply pipe and the supply hose before connecting.

Check all connections are watertight.
