Commissioning

To operate the appliance correctly

−

the appliance must be correctly connected by an authorized customer service (page 65 sec-
tion 11.),

−

the built-in water softener must be set to the prevailing water hardness (page 60 section 8.).

Before commissioning for the first time, clean with a cleaning product that dissolves grease.

For cleaning, see page 58 section 7.

3.1

Getting ready for use

Open the water tap.

Switch on the mains switch for the appliance.

The time of day is shown in the display panel. If it shows 00:00, set the time, see page 45
section 3.3.

Switching on

Switch the appliance on

−

press the ”on/off” key

The indicator light and the display

flash while the appliance is heating up

The degree of exhaustion of the water softener is indicated as a percentage in the cooking
temperature display field

Exceptions: The display will not appear if no sof-

tener is built in or if the built-in softener has been deactivated via the control system.

If there is only a little capacity remaining, perform a regeneration in good time outside coo-
king hours, as a regeneration process takes at least 45 minutes and no cooking process is
possible during this time.

The appliance will be ready for operation after approximately 5 minutes if it had cooled down
completely.

Once the appliance is ready for operation, the indicator lights in the programmes
