Installation
Setup
−
Horizontal and not sensitive to vibrations,
−
under an extraction hood with flame protection
filters,
−
not against flammable walls.
For stand-alone installation of appliances
:
Prevent the appliance from tipping over, e.g. by
screwing it to the wall or to adjacent appliances.
Ensure sufficient clearance above the appliance!
There must not be any shelves above the appli-
ance or movable swivelling devices!
Ensure sufficient movement areas for operation!
So that there will be no risk of inadvertent push-
ing into other persons while working with the
deep fat fryer. The clearance in front of the deep
fat fryer should be at least one meter!
Do not install appliances operated with water next to deep fat fryers. Maintain the minimum distance
from deep fat fryers of 900 mm or fit a splash guard (sheet metal deflector) with a minimum height of
350 mm. Nor may any water taps or spray hoses be installed near deep fat fryers.
It is prohibited to install caster wheels on the appliance. The factory installed wheels on the back of the
appliance must not be altered. The wheels are only intended for the appliance to be rolled toward the
front and the back.
Observe the health and safety information supplied by the employers’ liability insurance association for
deep fat fryers. Capacities are added together if a number of deep fat fryers are installed next to one
another. In such cases, special fire protection measures will be required.
Pull the protective film off the device. Remove residual adhesive with cleaner’s naphtha.

to the user (e.g. risk of fire).
For safety reasons, we recommend installing a 10 mA residual current device (RCD).
Observe the data on the type plate when making the electrical connections!
