Adding food to be cooked

You can start the deep frying process after the point disappears from the display and after the setpoint

temperature has nearly been reached in the bowl.

In order to avoid foaming, briefly dip the filled frying basket into the hot frying oil/frying grease.

During short operation breaks, set the temperature to approx. 110

C and cover the deep fat fryer bowl

with the lid or switch to standby mode (timer option), see starting on page 45 in Chapter 5.9.3 / 5.9.4

Switch the automatic basket lift off or on

(option)

Only in appliances with timer and automatic basket lift!
The lifting device is automatically extended or retracted via the short time clock. This function can also be

switched off. This may become necessary if you work with several portion baskets in a bowl and if the

short time clock is to be used.

Switching off the automatic basket lift

Press the button “START/STOP”

and hold it for three seconds.

The indicator light in the button goes out.

The lifting device is lowered.

Exception: The automatic basket lift waits with the retraction of the lifting device until the oil or grease

temperature in the bowl has reached 90

Switching on the automatic basket lift

Press the button “START/STOP”

and hold it for three seconds.

The indicator light in the button goes on.

The lifting device is raised.

Exception: The automatic basket lift waits with the extension of the lifting device until the oil or grease

temperature in the bowl has reached 90

Changing the time settings can only be done on the short time clock that has not yet been started.
