Malfunction

Possible cause
The appliance is switched
on but does not heat up.
The heater is swivelled up
and therefore turned off
automatically.
Swivel heating element in to the stop.
The pump is switched on,
but does not feed any frying
oil/frying grease.
There is not enough oil or
deep frying grease in the
container. Pump is sucking
air.
Fill the bowl or container with frying oil or frying
grease.
Solid frying grease was
used. The frying oil/frying
grease has become solid in
the container or in the
pump.
Remove the solid frying grease from the container.
Only use frying oil or semi-liquid frying grease!
The O-Ring (round ring) on
the connecting hub of the
suction pipe is defective or
missing. Pump is sucking
air.
Insert new O-ring (round ring).
The pump is switched on
and runs for 5 minutes, but
does not feed any frying oil/
frying grease.
Pump pusher worn.

Short circuit in the
temperature sensor.
Turn the appliance on and off. Contact the customer
service if the fault recurs.

Interruption of the
temperature sensor.
Turn the appliance on and off. Contact the customer
service if the fault recurs.

Heating element or
contactor defective.
Turn the appliance on and off. Contact the customer
service if the fault recurs.

Maximum temperature
exceeded.
Check whether there are sufficient amounts of oil or
deep frying grease in the bowl.
Switch off the error message

The safety temperature-
limiter has turned off.
Switch on the safety temperature-limiter. If fault
occurs again, let customer service or an electrician
check the appliance.
