Apple and Raspberry Crush

Raspberries provide useful amounts of vitamin C, which is essential to boosting immunity and
helping with wound healing and iron absorption; as well as folic acid, vitamin E, magnesium and
ellagic acid. Apples are a good source of pectin – a type of soluble fibre that can help reduce high
blood cholesterol levels.

Ingredients
2 apples peeled, quartered, de-cored and chopped
150g raspberries
125ml freshly squeezed orange juice
ice cubes, to serve (optional)
Method
Place all the ingredients into the Smoothie Maker
Blend on low for a few seconds
Switch to high and blend until smooth
Pour into tall glasses, over ice cubes, if desired
Serve
