WARNING
A blade by which the wear limit (marking) has been exceeded can break off and spin away; this can cause severe
injuries.
Replacing the blade
WARNING
Let the cutting blade bar to be replaced only in authorized professional workshop. A wrongly assembled cutting
blade coupling or a blade screw that is tightened too tightly or too loosely can allow the cutting blade bar to get
loose and cause severe injuries.
– Only use original blades for replacement purposes (Order no. see original spare parts and accessories).
– Blades must be indelibly marked with name and/or trademark of the manufacturer or supplier and with the parts number.
Servicing the front wheels
Oil the bearings of the wheels once a year or every 20 hours of operation.
– Remove the wheel cap cover on both sides.
– Use a socket wrench to loosen the hexagonal nut, remove the washer and take the wheels along with the wheel cap
and the disc from the wheel axle. Remove the wheel cap from the wheel.
– After greasing the bearing, slide the wheel into place. First insert the disc into the wheel, fit the wheel cap and then push
until you hear a click. Fit the washer, secure with the hexagonal nut and tighten so that the wheel is able to rotate freely
but has no play. Replace the wheel cap cover.
Servicing the rear wheel drive (Illustration R )
– On both sides, remove the wheel cap cover and the washer and take the drive wheels along with the wheel cap and the
disc from the wheel axle.
– Remove dirt and greasy residue from the wheel cover, the free-wheel pinion on the gear shaft and the toothed ring on
the inside of the wheel.
NOTE
Do not remove the free wheel pinion from the gear shaft!
– Grease the free-wheel pinion and toothed ring in the wheel with "KAJO-Langzeitfett LZR 2" (longlife grease) in such a
way that the gaps between the teeth are completely filled.
– When fitting the drive wheel, ensure that the pinion and the toothed ring connect, if necessary turn the wheel slightly on
the axle.
– If the wheel cap has come away from the wheel, first insert the disc into the wheel in accordance with the Figure R ,
replace the wheel cap and press until you hear the click. Fit the washer to the screw and screw both into the wheel axle.
Replace the wheel cap cover.
Servicing the drive
– It is absolutely essential that the Bowden cable runs easily for switching on and off, so that the control drive works
perfectly.
– The Bowden traction mechanism has been set ready for operation at the works and requires no adjustment.
Changing the drive V-belt
The drive V-belt must be replaced by a specialist workshop.

WARNING
Avoid injury! Engine exhaust fumes contain carbon monoxide and can cause serious illness or death.
Do not run an engine in an enclosed area, such as a garage, even with doors and windows open.
Move the machine to an outside area before starting the engine.
IMPORTANT
For maintenance work lay the engine and/or the mower on the left-hand side (in the direction of movement) because
otherwise there may be problems starting the engine.
ATTENTION
When tilting or placing the mower on its side, ensure that no oil or fuel comes out of the machine. Fire hazard!
