It is also recommended to carefully sand along this area of each side of the battery sled. Just enough to help prevent
the chassis from slight expansion once the batteries are inserted:

After sanding is completed clean the sled with a little rubbing alcohol to remove sanding dust residue.

-

Pull out and tin the (+) and (-) tabs with solder and place the tabs aside for later use when the hot and negative wires
will be soldered on.
