Note

The AUX interface connected through a RJ45 rollover cable is same as the
asyn card connected through the asyn cable with 1 to 8 crystal connector, ,
and be similar to Modem in terms of connection.

Connecting An Asyn Interface Module to A
Terminal

The asyn cable with 1-to-8 crystal connector converts the 68-pin connector of the asyn
interface into eight RJ45 connectors, and then connects to the DB25M interface of a terminal
(for instance, dumb terminal) through the RJ45(crystal jack)-DB25 female converter or to the
DB9M interface through the RJ45(crystal jack)-DB9 female converter.

When the asyn cable with 1-to-8 crystal jack is used, use a straight netwok cable to connect
the converter cable of the asyn interface module to the converter adapter.

This mode applies to such modules as NM-8A/16A and SIC-8A.
