Command Line Interface
Basic System Management Commands
IP authorized manager address
Specifies the IP addresses to authroize. Sets which PC’s and/or workstations are allowed
to access the switch’s web browser interface (HTTP/HTTPS), SNMP interface, or the console
interface (TELNET/SSH). Allows up to 10 authorized manager addresses, where each
address applies to either a single management station or multiple stations. IP authorized-
managers support all IP addresses and protocols by default.
Command Mode: Global Configuration
Syntax
[no] IP authorized-managers <IP-addr> mask <mask> [HTTP] [HTTPS] [SNMP]
[TELNET] [SSH]
Description
■
<IP-addr>
- Sets the IP address to authorize. Default IP 0.0.0.0.
■
mask <mask>
- Sets the mask for the associated IP subnet. Default mask 0.0.0.0.
■
[HTTP]
- Selects HTTP protocol to access web browser interface.
■
[HTTPS]
- Selects HTTPS protocol to access web browser interface.
■
[SNMP]
- Selects SNMP protocol to access SNMP interface.
■
[TELNET]
- Selects TELNET protocol to enter console interface.
■
[SSH]
- Selects SSH protocol to enter console interface.
■
no IP authorized-managers
- Disables IP address authorization.
Example
!Enables IP address 192.168.0.10 to access the switch via HTTP, SNMP
and SSH protocols.
