SNMP-server user-usm
Specifies user(s) for SNMP protocols
Command Mode: Global Configuration
Syntax
[no] SNMP-server user-usm <Username> [auth-protocol { MD5 | none }
<authpassswd | none> pri-protocol {DES | none} priv-passwd<passwd |
none>]
Description
■
<Username>
- Sets the SNMP user name. May be 1 to 32 characters. Cannot be
“initial” this name is reserved.
■
auth-protocol { MD5 | none }
- Sets the auth protocol to MD5 or none.
■
<authpassswd | none>
- Sets user password. May be 1 to 32 characters. Password
not required.
■
pri-protocol {DES | none}
- Sets pri protocol to DES or none.
■
priv-passwd <passwd | none>
- Sets privacy password. May be 1 to 32 characters.
Password not required
■
no SNMP-server user-usm <Username >
- Disables an SNMP user name.
