TENSIONING AND REPLACEMENT OF TRANSMISSION BELTS
As regards the tension and the replacement of the
transmission belts it is necessary to proceed as follows:
1. Loosen the screw (part. A fig 16).
2. Rotate the regulation screw (part. B fig.16) for
tensioning.
3. If the belts have been replaced it is necessary to
tension them to the correct value, proceeding as
described at point 1 of this chapter and that described
in the previous chapter under “Transmission belt
tensioning check”.
4.
On adjusting the belts to the required tension, firmly secure screw A.
