
To Apply Color Correction to the
Chroma Key
Apply color correction to the output of a chroma key.
1.
Click
Navigation Menu
>
Live Assist
>
Chroma Key
.
2.
Click
CK
X
for the chroma key engine you want
to use.
3.
Click
Fill Video Adj
.
4.
Click the
Enable
button to turn correction on
(
On
) or off (
Off
).
5.
Use the sliders to adjust the video source.
6.
Click
Fill Color Adj
.
7.
Click the
Enable
button to turn correction on
(
On
) or off (
Off
).
8.
Click the
Component
button
RGB
or the
individual color component you want to adjust,
and use the sliders to adjust the color components.
Tip:
Click one of the
Preset Color Temp
buttons to
apply a temperature color correction to the video.
To Box Mask a Chroma Key
Box masks use a box shape to mask out part of the key.
1.
Click
Navigation Menu
>
Live Assist
>
Chroma Key
and click the
CK
X
button for the
chroma key you want to apply the mask to.
2.
Click
Mask
>
Box
.
3.
Click
Mask Invert
to invert the masked area with
the unmasked area.
The portion of the key that was masked out is now
visible, and the portion that was visible is masked.
4.
Use the
X-Position
and
Y-Position
sliders to
position the mask.
5.
Use the
Size
slider to adjust the size of the mask
region.
6.
Use the
Left Edge
and
Right Edge
sliders to
adjust the position of the left and right sides of the
box mask.
7.
Use the
Top Edge
and
Bottom Edge
sliders to
adjust the position of the upper and lower sides of
the box mask.
8.
Use the
Edge Softness
slider to adjust the
softness of the edges of the box mask.
To Garbage Mask a Chroma Key
You must have a garbage mask source assigned to the
chroma key source to be able to apply the mask.
