Specifying the Video Format
This chapter provides information on the reference formats, and how to specify the video format
for your inputs and outputs.
Frame Rate Compatibility
It is important to remember that when using the reference source connected to the rear panel, the
BAP input video frame rate must match the reference frame rate. Reference compatibility is shown
in Table 1 .
Specifying a Video Format
The BAP has built-in hysteresis to avoid visible artifacts if the input and output timing alignment
oscillates around the drop/repeat cross-over point.
To specify a video format for the BAP
1. Display the SDI IO interface as outlined in “ To display the BAP interfaces in DashBoard ”.
2. Select the SDI Input tab.
3. Use the Video Format options to specify the video format for the input and output signals.
4. Click Apply to save the new setting.
5. To apply the new setting:
a. Display the Global interface as outlined in “ To display the BAP interfaces in DashBoard ”.
b. Click Reboot , located at the bottom of the Global interface to apply the new setting.
