Launching DashBoard
DashBoard must run on a computer that has a physical wired Ethernet connection. Wireless
connections do not allow device discovery.
To launch DashBoard
1. Ensure that you are running DashBoard software version 9.0 or higher.
2. Launch DashBoard by double-clicking its icon on your computer desktop.
Accessing the BAP Interfaces in DashBoard
Each node represents an interface, or configuration step, for a specified SDI path. Selecting a node
displays its tabs in the right-most pane of the DashBoard window.
To display the BAP interfaces in DashBoard
1. In the Basic Tree View of DashBoard, locate the BAP node.
2. Expand the BAP node.
3. Right-click the 1 Global node and select Open .
The Global interface enables you to define the Ethernet settings and timing requirements.
4. Expand the 1 Global node.
The BAP sub-node displays.
5. Expand the BAP sub-node.
The BAP tree view displays with the SDI IO node at the top, and a sub-node for each SDI
connection on the BAP.
6. Double-click the SDI IO node.
The SDI IO interface enables you to configure and/or monitor the global settings for each SDI.
