Using DashBoard
This chapter provides instructions for launching DashBoard, and accessing the BAP interfaces in
DashBoard.
Overview
The BAP interfaces are accessed by expanding the main BAP node in the Tree View and selecting a
series of sub-nodes. ( Figure 11 )
The BAP nodes are organized in a logical order for ease of configuration:
• The SDI IO node provides global settings for configuring the SDI input and outputs on the BAP.
• Sub-node labels display with the nomenclature of
SDI #

represents the SDI signal.
• The SDI-specific Channel Mapper node enables you to map each input audio channel to an audio
channel in one of the four output paths.
• Subsequent sub-nodes display with the nomenclature of
Path x
where
x
represents the output
path for that SDI signal (there are four per SDI). and
y <interface name>
represents a setup
step. Expand these sub-nodes to access the Dolby encoding and Nielsen Watermarking
configuration options. In Figure 11 , the user expanded the SDI 1 Output Path 1 node to access
the Dolby RTLL, Nielsen Watermarker, and Dolby Digital (DD) DDP Encoder sub-nodes.
