6 Using Advanced Task Mode
OVERVIEW This section describes advanced functions of the Rosemount Model
P330 Pressure Validator. Advanced validation procedures fall into two
categories:
1. Advanced tasks, in which you set inputs and outputs
2. User tasks, in which you can save any task by assigning it a name
in one of ten allocations in the
USER TASK
menu.
Both of these advanced task modes are discussed in this section.
ADVANCED TASK MODE In Advanced task mode, you select the inputs and outputs for the
validation test from several menu options. In addition, there are five
process functions available for the input parameters.

1. Press the
TASK
key.
2. Use ¶ and Ä to highlight
ADVANCED
mode.
3. Press
ENTER
.
The display appears to return to the mode it was in, but the task
line on the display now reads
ADVANCED .
Set the inputs and outputs for the test as described below.
SETTING INPUTS The Model P330 can be set to any of these inputs:
PRESSURE INT ,
PRESSURE EXT , VOLTAGE , CURRENT ,
and
SWITCH TEST .

for setting inputs.
