Directions:
In a large bowl, combine the fl our, salt and if you like, add any combination of additional
ingredients and spices.
Be creative!
For example, you can add fresh or dried fruits
and nuts, cinnamon, chocolate chips etc… Or, chopped ham and cheese with your
favorite herbs like oregano, rosemary thyme etc… Mix the ingredients with a tablespoon
or a spatula until it is completely combined.
Pour the warm water in a separate cup or a small bowl. Add the yeast and sugar and mix
it around with a spoon and let it set (bloom) for only 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes, give it
a quick mix again before pouring into the large bowl with the fl our and mixed ingredients.
Use the tablespoon or spatula (or your hands) to thoroughly blend the dough mixture
until you have a blended, moist dough consistency (about 3 minutes). With both hands,
lift up the dough mixture and place it into the oil-sprayed container. Then, with the back
of your hand, evenly compress the dough down as far as it will go. Place a wet paper
towel over the top of the container and let the dough rise for 30 minutes. While the dough
is rising, place on an absorbent cloth or some paper towels on your countertop , directly
under your Fryer to absorb any water dripping down.
Measure and pour 5 Qts. of water into your 5in1 Inner Cooking Bowl. Insert the Safety
Extension Sleeve (SES) and lock it down. Remove the Charcoal Filter from the Fryer Lid’s
Cartridge and replace it with the colored SteamBlocking
™
Sheet. Attach the magnetic
Cord to the Control Box and plug it into an electrical socket. After your dough has risen
for 30 minutes, place your container(s) into the Wire Basket with the handles attached.
Set the Wire Basket Handles into the draining position holes located on each side of the
SES just above the locks. Put the Fryer Lid on. Set the Thermostat Dial to 385 degrees
and then turn the Timer Dial to 45 minutes. After the bell rings, and the machine has
turned off, immediately add another 25 minutes. This time, when the bell rings again,
your bread is done. With your protective gloves on, remove the fi lled Wire Basket and set
it on an absorbent cloth or some paper towels.
Let your bread cool down for one hour before shaking the bread out of its container.
When ready to eat, slice in ½” slices. For best results – always double toast! Coat your
double toasted bread slices with butter or your favorite topping for the best tasting toast.
Wrap unused bread in plastic wrap and store in your refrigerator for
