Preparing to SteamBake

When SteamBaking
™
or SteamFrying
™
without the food Steaming Attachment, you
must insert the included plastic SteamBlocking Sheet with tab into the Filter Cartridge
in place of and after removing the Charcoal Filter. The SteamBlocking Sheet
TM
blocks
the metal venting grate and creates hotter steam.
IMPORTANT:
Never use the plastic SteamBlocking Sheet
™
when frying!
IMPORTANT:
During the SteamBaking
™
process, water condensation will drip down
onto your countertop. It is necessary that you place an absorbent cloth or some paper
towels under your Fryer to absorb any of the dripping water.

Breads
Always use the SES
Breads can be made in metal cans
(coffee cans, tall Dole
®
pineapple cans)
or in the included 8-cup High Heat
Rectangular Plastic Container. Always
oil spray containers before each use.
1.
First remove the Charcoal Filter
from the Fryer lid’s Filter Cartridge
and replace it with the plastic
SteamBlocking Sheet (with tab).
Snap the lid of the cartridge holder
back in place.
2.
Pour 5 Qts. of water into the Inner
Cooking Bowl.
To measure your
water to 5 Qts., use the embossed
line on the vertical Heating Element
or use your own measuring
container.
3.
Now, Insert the SES.
4.
Oil spray containers before each use.
You can use 2 empty coffee cans, 2 empty
Dole
®
Pineapple Juice Cans or just the 1 included High Heat Rectangular Plastic
Container.
5. After preparing your creative dough recipe,
fi ll the container(s)
of your choice
and
allow the dough to rise
for 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for plain sandwich
bread).
6.
Place
either your 2 Cans or your single Rectangular
Container into the Wire
Basket
with attached handles. Lift the fi lled basket up above the Fryer and place
the handles into the draining position holes which are located above the locks on
both sides the SES.
