Getting Ready to Use the UA-100
Installing the UA-100 Driver
If other Windows programs are already running, exit all of them before you per-
form the following procedure.
If the UA-100 driver is installed in the computer that you are using, delete
the previously installed UA-100 driver before performing the installation.
For details on deleting the UA-100 driver, refer to p. 67.
Once the connections have been completed (p. 18), turn on power to your
various devices in the order specified. By turning on devices in the wrong
order, you risk causing malfunction and/or damage to speakers and other
devices.
This unit is equipped with a protection circuit. A brief interval (a few sec-
onds) after power up is required before the unit will operate normally.

After completing the connections between the UA-100 and your com-
puter and peripheral devices (p. 18), turn on the UA-100, and then turn
on your computer and start up Windows.
Windows will automatically search for unknown devices, and the following dialog
box will appear.

Insert the included CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive, and click
Next
.
The
Add New Hardware Wizard
dialog box will appear.
