<About the Effect Type Selector>
The Effect Type Selector lets you switch the following functions. There will be no
sound for several seconds after the effect type has been changed.
• When PC is selected
You can use the
UA-100 Controller
to control mixing and the effects processor
from the computer. If you wish to apply effects to the signal input from the Line
Input Jacks as you record, set the
Mic/Guitar Select Button
to
LINE
in the
Mixer
or
VT Mixer
function of the
UA-100 Controller
.

• When VT, VOCAL, or GUITAR are selected
The audio that is input from MIC1/GUITAR Input Jack will be sent through the
“Voice Transformer,” “Vocal Multi,” or “Guitar Multi” effect, respectively. You
can use the
Effect Controllers
to freely adjust the effect parameters. The signal
that is input from the Line Input Jacks will be output directly from the Line
Output Jacks.
• When GAME is selected
Effects will be applied to the USB-routed audio output from games. Effects will be
applied to the background music of the game. For details, refer to “Applying
Effects to the Game Sound” (p. 46). The signal that is input from the Line Input
Jacks can be recorded on your computer, and its volume can be adjusted by the
Line Output Volume. However, effects will not be applied to the signal that is
input from the Line Input Jacks.
• When BYPASS is selected
The audio data output from your computer and the input from the mic/guitar etc.
will be output without passing through the effect processor. If there is no sound or
if the sound is distorted, select
BYPASS
and check the volume of the external
device. The signal that is input from the Line Input Jacks will be output directly
from the Line Output Jacks.
