Synthesizers 

 

The source signals for the generator signals associated with each port and the LO signal for the mixers 
on the receiver boards for each of the reflectometers are generated on the synthesizer board. A 
maximum of four individual synthesizers can be accommodated on a synthesizer board.  
 
In all, there are three different synthesizer- variants: 
 
Model 02:  Fitted with four synthesizers 
Model 03:  Fitted with one synthesizer 
Model 04:  Fitted with three synthesizers 
 
These synthesizer models are incorporated as follows in the various ZVB models:
