Connection to the electrical system
5.1 Connection to the electrical system
The following section describes the procedure for connecting the product/system to the
electrical system properly.
5.1.1
Tools and aids
The following tools and aids are required for connecting the product to the electrical
system:

Size 4 Allen wrench

No. 1 Phillips head screwdriver

Phillips head screwdriver size PH2

Size 3 mm screwdriver

TETRA antennas required (A and, optionally, B)

GPS antenna incl. accessories from the scope of delivery

Coin to unscrew/tighten the mounting screws of the equipment rack top cover

Cable end sleeve calliper

Cable end sleeves

Connecting cable from the scope of delivery for connecting the cavity coupler (for
cavity variant only)
5.1.2
Connection with the grounding system
The network and hardware components installed in the equipment rack are already
grounded through the equipment rack. Before you can connect and switch on the volt-
age supply, however, you must first connect the equipment rack to the grounding sys-
tem.
For connection with the grounding system, a grounding connector for the grounding
cable (green-yellow) has been provided below the top cover of the equipment cabinet.
