Chapter 5 Preventative Maintenance and Component Replacement

Replace the eHIM

The integrated touch screen display (EHIM-T10CED4G) is located on the LV
Control cabinet door.

1. Disconnect the EtherNet/IP cable from PLC and the 3-pin power

connector (which contains the ground cable, and the 24V power supply
cable).

2. Remove and retain the eight mounting levers from the integrated touch

screen display.

3. Install the new integrated touch screen display inside the LV Control

cabinet door.

4. Reinstall all hardware and reconnect all cables in reverse order of

removal.

Replace LV Control Relays

1. Open the LV Control cabinet door.

IMPORTANT

Support the device from the outside of the door to prevent it from

falling through the front of the door.

ATTENTION:

Always perform Power Lockout procedure before servicing

equipment. Verify with a hot stick or appropriate voltage measuring device

that all circuits are voltage free. Failure to do so may result in severe burns,

injury, or death.
