8. TROUBLESHOOTING
8.1. SOME SUGGESTIONS ON OPERATION
The following is some trouble shooting that might occur during operation and its solution.
Problem
Remedy
Film is too loose during the wrapping
operation.
Increase the braking effect of the
clutched roller.
Film is too tensed during the wrapping
operation.
Reduce the braking effect of the clutched
roller.
Film overlaps too little on the product.
decrease conveyors’ speed.
Film overlaps too much on the product.
increase conveyors’ speed.
Wrapping begins too close to the product
edge.
increase the “head positioning” time.
Wrapping begins too far from the product
edge.
decrease the “head positioning” time.
Wrapping terminates too close to the
product edge.
decrease the “tail positioning” time.
Wrapping terminates too far from the
product edge.
increase the “tail positioning” time.
The wrapping laps are not compact.
Check if the spool has been mounted
correctly according to the film’s adhesive
side.
8.2. ALARM MESSAGES
In the event of a breakdown during operations the machine stops automatically and alarm messages appear
on the display.
The table lists the displayed messages, the type of problem, the cause and possible solutions.

E01 EMERGENCY ALARM MUSHROOM BUTTON PRESSED
Cause:

Emergency alarm mushroom button pressed
Remedy:

Reset the button and press the Reset button
E02 “AIR LACK” ALARM
Cause:

Faulty pressure switch or air lack in the plant
Remedy:
-
Check pressure switch or reactivate air
