6. ABOUT THE USE

6.1. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR OPERATION AND USE

Before performing any operation, the operator must make sure that he/she understood the "Instructions

for use".

‒

When using the machine for the first time, the operator must read the manual and identify the controls

and simulate some operations, especially the start-up and shutdown.

Important

Accident frequency derived from machine use depends upon many factors that cannot always be foreseen and

controlled. Some accidents can depend upon unforeseeable environmental factors; others depend especially

upon the user's behaviour. In addition to being authorised and appropriately informed, on first use personnel

must simulate some manoeuvres to identify the main commands and functions. Only carry out the operations

foreseen by the manufacturer and do not tamper with any device to obtain performances other than those

provided. Before use, check that the safety devices are correctly installed and efficient. Users, in addition to

striving to satisfy these requirements, must apply all the safety regulations and carefully read the descriptions

of the controls and start up.

6.2. CONTROL DESCRIPTION

Master switch

Turns the power supply on and off.

Position

(OFF) indicates that the

machine is not powered.

Position I (ON) indicates that the

machine is on.

Emergency button

Immediately cuts off the power supply in

emergency situations stopping the

machine.

Important

After the emergency button enablement,

you must press the reset button to

enable the automatic cycle.

STOP push-button

Press the push-button to interrupt the automatic wrapping cycle.

Start Button

Pressing the button starts the automatic work cycle.

Reset button

Press the machine push-button to put the machine in phase.

Press to reset the machine before restarting it after an emergency stop or restart it after a shutdown

with the disablement of the power supply.

“Door opening request” key selector switch.

The machine is equipped with access doors locked by safety electromagnetic devices.

Turn the key selector switch when the cycle is in progress to stop it.

If the machine is already stopped, you can use it to open the access doors.

“Touch screen” operating terminal

It allows to display and modify the production parameters.
