5.5. FRICTION ADJUSTMENT
ON REEL CARRIAGE
The clutch of the spool carriage roller
prevent the reel from winding to much
during the cycle due to inertia.
The optimum adjustment must be
performed with the heaviest spool
available, that is, the one with greater
inertia, and must guarantee that the film
always remains well compact on the
spool.
1.
Display the main page.
2.
Touch the key

to access the manual
movements (see section

“Description of the operating terminal” -
“Description of manual controls”).
3.
Touch the wheel

key to enable it and
then the "reel" key

.
The reel unit will move in front of the
door

automatically.
4.
Set the “door opening request” selector
switch (selector switch

“Controls description”) to “doors open”
position.
5.
Open the door
(D)
to access the reel and
adjust its friction.
6.
Adjust the friction on the spool roller
using knob
(G)
; a clockwise motion
increases the braking effect.
7.
Close the door and press the reset push-
button.
8.
Press the "Home"
(F)
key to return to the
main page and to align the machine.
