The single lines can be selectively deactivated using the corresponding check
boxes in the options.
Interpretation
It must be emphasized that the Mechanic Graph only takes bending, thus the
presence of pure tension and compression into account. Shear stresses, which
appear e.g. due to torsion, are not taken into account.
In practice, very low residual wall thickness and asymmetric tree shapes can
reduce the tree stability additionally and affect the hazard safety more than
Mechanic Graph suggests.
Please always keep in mind that the measurement results are only valid for the
cross-section investigated. Please place the sensors at the mechanically weakest
level of the trunk/branch. The assessment of other levels is not representative for
the hazard safety of the tree.
