This chapter shall give you an insight into the ARBOTOM
®
Software before using it for the first time:
You will get to this menu by clicking “options”. The following adjustments can be made:
Program:
Auto fill columns:
Copies settings of first line to the others in the columns for: height,
diameter and level. (Recommended)
Show sensor ID in tables:
Shows Sensor ID (five numbers) instead of sensor number in charts
for distances, velocity, runtimes and delta. (deactivate)
Show mean runtimes table:
Adds another chart in which the mean runtimes are shown.
Show toolbar:
Shows toolbar underneath the menu bar. (necessary)
PC COM Port:
Choose the COM-Port the serial cable is attached to. In case you are
using a USB-connection, please check the hardware configuration
within the Windows control panel. Please not that the COM-port is
dependent on the USB-plug used.
Working Folder:
Folder where measurements should be saved to can be selected here.
Load options:
Setting made in the “options menu” to will be copied new files.
Standard bending:
Standard bending that will be preset in new files. The bending defines
how much the outer line between the sensors will be curved. This
bending is an optical adjustment only and will not influence the
outcome of the measurement.

Available languages are: English, German, Dutch
