Color interpretation

Minimum and maximum

Color model
: Choose a color palette for the surface graph.
•
Auto min. / Auto max.:
If this box is checked, the system automatically
adapts the color palette to the range of data. Deactivate the automatic
input and insert the appropriate limits manually to the requirements of
different species.
•
Typical velocity interval:
This option will adapt the graph colors according to
the typical impulse velocities for the species selected. RINNTECH is currently
developing a velocity catalogue for certain species. Please note that velocity
tables derived from other measurement devices cannot be applied to
ARBOTOM.
3D
3D algorithm
: The 3D-graph can be computed using different algorithms. We
recommend the “next line” method.
•
3D resolution:
Resolution of the graph in pixel. Lower values increase the
resolution. Please note that the system adapts the resolution automatically.
An over-stressed resolution will produce artifacts. If you wish to increase the
resolution physically, please use a larger number of sensors.
•
Number of used minimum lines:
Number of lines used in the “Next-line”-
algorithm.
•
Number of skipped minimum lines:
Number of lines not used in the
“Next-line” algorithm.
•
Common scale factor:
If active all images are scaled the same
•
Use faster mean value:
Selects the higher mean value of the bi-directional
measurements. If this box is checked, the higher mean only will be displayed,
the lower will be rejected.
