Measurement
Step 1:
Be sure that the sensor chain is correctly connected, that the Battery Pack is switched
on and that the ARBOTOM
®
-software is started. To reconnect the ARBOTOM
®
and the
Notebook via wireless connection click on “Reconnect COM-Port”
The LED in the upper left hand corner of the Battery Pack should now show a green
light.
If for some reasons it is not possible to use the wireless connection, it is always possible
to use a serial cable for the connection.
The ARBOTOM
®
needs to be reconnected every time you switch it on again.
Step 2:
Start the sensor recognition. Hit any
sensor once. A confirmation sound
can be heard at the notebook and in
the table “Positions” all sensors
connected will appear in the column
“Sensor name”. If not all sensors
are recognized, please check the
sensor chain. If no sensor is
detected, check the data connection
to the notebook and the correct
setup of the COM-port (see
“Options”). If the sensors are not
recognized correctly, the sensor
recognition must be repeated.
Sensor recognition is not possible
during measurement.
Step 3:
Activate the measurement by mouse click on the green arrow in the icon bar of the
software or use the hot keys “Ctrl+A”.
