Due to the physical properties and anatomy of wood, 
tomograms as a result of runtime measurements are 
in their precision and informational value limited 
reconstructions of the inner mechanical condition of 
the tree. They should therefore not be used as sole 
base of decision for evaluating the stability of a cross-
section but should rather be used in combination with
