Glue thickness adjustment on the spine:
Depending on the thickness of the book block the binding needs different amount of
glue to provide proper repartition of glue on the spine.

By turning the level clockwise, the quantity
of glue is decreasing.
 By turning the level counterclockwise, the
quantity of glue is increasing.
Setting up the book thickness:
1. Measure the thickness of the book
2. Adjust the side gluing wheels distance according to the thickness of the book,
by turning the “side glue wheel adjustment” knob.
Refilling the glue tank with glue:
On continuous production, the amount of glue is decreasing, therefore to upkeep the
production the tank must be refilled by glue in the pre-melt area.
