7. Upkeep of the bookbinder machine
At each use
After each use, clean drips of glue which may appear on the active parts of your
machine, with a cloth dipped in White Spirit.
According to intensity of use
Replace the slitting points when you notice that your slitting system is less efficient,
or when the points are worn.
The sack of the vacuuming system must be emptied upon usage intensity of the
machine.
Depending on the glue type according to the intensity of the use the glue must be
changed.
Once a year
Lubricate the skid axis of the vice carriage at least once a year.
Changing the milling disk and the slitting knives.
If the quality of the milling or slitting declines, you will need to change them.
In case of change please contact your servicing distributor for help.
It is forbidden to put the hand in the milling unit. The milling disk
can start suddenly and may cause severe personal injury.
