Combustion head adjustment
At this point of the installation, the combustion head is fixed to the
boiler as shown in Fig. 18. It is therefore especially easy to adjust,
and this adjustment depends only on the maximum output of the
burner.
Two adjustments of the head are foreseen:
–
external air R1
–
central gas/air R2
In the diagram (Fig. 20) find the notch at which to adjust both air
and central gas/air.
External air R1 adjustment
Rotate the screw 4)(Fig. 21) until the notch you have found
corresponds with the front surface 5) of the flange.
Central gas/air R2 adjustment
Loosen the 3 screws 1)(Fig. 21) and rotate the ring nut 2)
until the notch you have found corresponds with the
index 3).
Block the 3 screws 1).
Example:
burner output = 1550 kW.
The diagram of (Fig. 20) shows that the adjustments for this po-
tential are:
–
air R1
= notch 9
–
central gas/air R2
= notch 1
NOTE:
the diagram (Fig. 20) indicates the optimum adjustment for a
type of boiler according to Fig. 4 at page 11.
