6.3 BLOCK DIAGRAM

The MCB (Main Controller Board) controls this machine. Its CPU checks all
sensors and controls the ADF, all motors/fans, and the USB board. It also
processes images from the SBU.
The Network board controls the PCMCIA interface (I/F), SD Card I/F, Ethernet I/F,
user interface (operation panel) and passes the image data from the MCB to the
necessary I/F.
