3.2.10 SCANNER OPTICS UNIT
NOTE:
Do not touch the scanner optics unit shaft [G] with your bare hands. This
can cause rust and incorrect movement. If you touch the shaft with your
bare hands, clean the shaft with a cloth and alcohol.

2. Disconnect the lamp cable [A]. (

4. Disconnect the flat cable [C].
5. Move the scanner optics unit to the notch [D] with the timing belt.
NOTE:
Do not push the scanner optics unit directly when you move it. This
can cause damage to the shaft and scratches on the rail [I].
6. Loosen the screw of the tension bracket [E].
7. Move the tension bracket in the direction of the arrow, and then tighten the
screw.
8. Release the timing belt [F] for the scanner optics unit.
9. Remove the scanner optics unit shaft [G]. To do this, pull the right side of the
scanner under cover.
10. Scanner optics unit [H]
NOTE:
Do not remove the painted screws in the scanner optics unit.
