Front Panel Keypad
Figure 1-1 shows the IQ plus 350 front panel keys and
the key functions assigned in normal mode.
The symbols shown under the keys in Figure 1-1
(representing up, down, enter, left, right) describe the
key functions assigned in setup mode. In setup mode,
the keys are used to navigate through menus, select
digits within numeric values, and increment/
decrement values. See Section 3.1.3 on page 13 for
information about using the front panel keys in setup
mode.

Display Annunciators

annunciators to provide additional information about
the value being displayed:
lb, kg, oz, T, t, g
Indicates the units associated with the displayed
value: lb=pounds, kg=kilograms, oz=ounces,
T=short tons, t=metric tons, g=grams. The units
annunciator can also be set to NONE (no units
information displayed). See Section 3.2.2 for
information about configuring primary and
secondary display units.
G
or
B
The displayed weight is a gross weight. Display
of the
G
(Gross) or
B
(Brutto) symbol depends on
the indicator configuration.
NET
The displayed weight is a net weight.
Entry Mode
or
Nicht Geeicht
The indicator is not in normal mode. The
Entry
Mode
(or
Nicht Geeicht
) annunciator is shown
when the indicator is placed in setup or test mode.
The symbol displayed depends on indicator
configuration.
Scale is at standstill or within the specified motion
band. Some operations, including tare functions
and printing, can only be done when the standstill
symbol is shown.
Center of zero. Gross weight is within 0.25
graduations of zero. This annunciator lights when
the scale is zeroed.

Tare symbols: Both
T
and
PT
symbols indicate
that the value displayed is a tare value:
•
T
indicates that the tare value was entered by
pressing the
TARE
key on the keypad, by
activating a TARE digital input, or by sending
the KTARE EDP command with no value.
•
PT
indicates that the tare value was set using
the KTARE EDP command.
If the tare value is entered at the front panel or
using a digital input, a solid rhombus shape (
)
surrounds the
T
(or
PT
) tare symbol. If the tare is
sent using the KTARE EDP command, a flashing
rhombus is shown.

the EDP command set.
