
Events
The Event settings allow user to configure DNP3 Events reporting and
generation.
Unsolicited Allowed:
The option to define whether the device is allowed
to send unsolicited responses. Enabled by default.
Default Enabled Event Class:
the option to specify the initial/new state
of the unsolicited event mask. The mask is used to determine which
DNP3 event class will generate unsolicited responses. The default value
is "No Classes", as most modern master stations will enable them upon
initial connection.
Unsolicited Max. Retries:
the field specifies the maximum number of
unsolicited retries before changing to 'offline' retry period described
below. The default is 3 retries.
Unsolicited Retry Delay:
the field specifies the time delay, in
milliseconds, before another unsolicited retry in case of an Unsolicited
Confirm timeout. The default time is 5 seconds (5,000ms).
Unsolicited Offline Retry:
the field specifies the time delay, in
milliseconds, before a new unsolicited retry in case the defined
Unsolicited Max Retries have been attempted. The default time is 30
seconds (30,000ms).
