When the 'Compare volumes' tool has been selected, to get back to the Volume view, select the
Display button (Figure 27).
10 .3 .2 .5 Orthographic/Perspective view button
(5) Orthographic/Perspective view button (Figure 28) – Orthographic – the build is represented with
right angles and parallel lines. Perspective view – the view is optimised to give a more natural view of
the build. Toggle between the two views using by selecting the button.
10 .3 .2 .6 Selected volume dropdown
(6) Selected volume dropdown (Figure 29) – this displays the alias of the currently displayed volume. If
no alias was provided, it displays the name and location of the volume file currently displayed. Use the
dropdown to select a different loaded volume file to view.
10 .3 .2 .7 Sync current volume button
(7) Sync current volume button (Figure 30) – selecting this will automatically update the volume data
from a live build.
Note: This only applies to 3D data. The data displayed in the Z cut plane view will update automatically
as more 2D data becomes available.
